4 International Expos on Construction, Woodcraft, Interior & Solar Products Kicks Off in Dhaka
Multiple International Tradeshows-the 10th Edition of Bangladesh BUILDCON 2026, BEST CNC Router Presents 10th Bangladesh WOOD International Expo 2026, INTERIOR & EXTERIOR Expo, and SOLAR BANGLA Renewable Energy Expo-were inaugurated today at Expo Village, International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka. The three-day event, running from September 17 to 19, 2026, is jointly organized by ASK Trade & Exhibitions Pvt Ltd and Futurex Trade & Events Pvt Ltd, with Interior Design Bangladesh (IDB) serving as the knowledge partner.
Dr. Engr. Giasuddin Haider, Director General (Additional Chief Engineer, PWD), Housing and Building Research Institute (HBRI), Dhaka, inaugurated the trade shows as the Chief Guest, alongside sector dignitaries.
Highlighting the importance of modern technology, Dr. Engr. Giasuddin Haider stated, "Bangladesh is making rapid strides in infrastructure, housing, and the modern furniture industry. However, to sustain this growth, we must increase the adoption of cost-effective, eco-friendly, and advanced technologies. International trade shows like 'Bangladesh BUILDCON' and 'Bangladesh WOOD Expo' provide a unique platform for local entrepreneurs and industry leaders to explore world-class machinery, sustainable building materials, and cutting-edge solutions."
Speaking at the occasion, Tipu Sultan Bhuiyan, Managing Director of ASK Trade & Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, said, "Stakeholders from the Building & Construction, Wood & Woodworking, Interior-Exterior, and Solar sectors can leverage this premier platform for innovation, networking, and business growth. Visitors can discover the latest in construction materials, interior solutions, solar technology, woodworking machinery, and furniture supplies—all under one roof."
With construction being a continuous process, industry stakeholders constantly seek technologies that cut costs, boost efficiency, and promote sustainability—issues directly addressed at the Bangladesh BUILDCON expo. Meanwhile, Bangladesh’s furniture sector, largely composed of unorganized players, faces an ongoing need to modernize to scale production and enhance quality. As the country's premier tradeshow for the sector, the 10th Bangladesh WOOD Expo brings global technology directly to local end-users, alongside the concurrently held SOLAR BANGLA Renewable Energy Expo and INTERIOR EXPO Solutions.
